Eat the Rainbow! Today, our Reception children took part in a fantastic 'Eat the Rainbow' workshop, provided by Accent Catering! During the workshop, the children explored a variety of colourful fruits and vegetables, learning about the different colours and how they help keep our bodies healthy. Their curiosity shone through as they asked questions, discovered new facts and explored the importance of making healthy food choices. The fun continued as the children got hands-on and created their very own delicious fruit kebabs, putting their new knowledge into practice! A big thank you to Accent Catering for delivering such an engaging and enjoyable workshop, inspiring our children to be curious about the food they eat and how it helps their bodies grow and thrive.

Our Annual Christmas Shoebox Appeal is Coming Soon! The festive season is fast approaching, and we are delighted to share that our Annual Christmas Shoebox Appeal will soon be returning to Hampton Vale Primary Academy! We will be sharing more details about how you can get involved very soon. In the meantime, if you have any empty shoeboxes at home, please save them for us! Thank you for your continued support. The Official Opening of Storybrooke Garden! This week, we proudly celebrated the official opening of our wonderful Reception outdoor provision, Storybrooke Garden! We were delighted to welcome members of The Four Cs Academy Trust, alongside other special guests, to share this exciting moment with us. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate. We are incredibly proud of this magical space, which has been carefully designed to provide our Reception children with rich opportunities for outdoor learning, exploration and imaginative play. As part of our commitment to creating inspiring learning environments, Storybrooke Garden offers a truly special place for children to learn, grow and make treasured memories every day. We look forward to seeing the children continue to explore, discover and enjoy everything this wonderful space has to offer!

Black History Month & Curiosity Yesterday we had our KS2 assembly around Black History Month, with New Delhi class helping to launch our celebrations through a showcase of their beautiful artwork celebrating their uniqueness. We explored the theme of curiosity and how we can LOOK, LISTEN and ASK to help us learn about the experiences and achievements of people within our communities.

SECONDARY SCHOOL APPLICATIONS – SEPTEMBER 2027 If your child is due to start secondary school in September 2027, don't forget to submit your application before the deadline! Application deadline: 31st October 2026 The easiest way to apply is online through Peterborough City Council. Simply visit: https://www.peterborough.gov.uk/schools-and-education/school-admissions/secondary-school-admissions When will you hear? If you submit your application before the closing date, you will receive your child's secondary school place offer on 1st March 2027. Please don't leave it until the last minute! Late applications are less likely to result in your child being offered a place at their preferred school. Good luck with your applications!
