Year 3s Incredible Stone Age Day! Year 3 enjoyed an unforgettable Stone Age Day, packed with creativity, adventure, and hands-on learning! The day kicked off with the children sketching their very own cave drawings, experimenting with shapes, symbols, and earthy colours inspired by prehistoric art. They then headed to the studio for a foraging-style hunt, exploring the grounds in search of "Stone Age" foods and natural materials. Back in the classroom, the creativity continued! The children built impressive mini Stonehenges out of custard creams and crafted pasta necklaces inspired by ancient jewellery. The fun didn't stop thereYear 3 took part in lively Stone Age charades and a fact-filled quiz to put their new knowledge to the test. To round off the day, the children used everything they had learned to create their own imaginative Stone Age stories. What a fantastic experiencehistory truly came to life!

Exciting News from Hampton Vale Primary Academy! We're thrilled to announce that our Wrap Around Care provision has expanded! Thanks to a recent grant, we've created a new room, meaning we now have four dedicated spaces to support children from 4 months to Year 6. Each space has been thoughtfully designed to offer purposeful play and fun learning experiences for every age group. From Monday 17th November, our Explorers Wrap Around Care will run from: Bumblebee Room – 4 months to 1 year Ladybird & Dragonfly Rooms – 1–3 years Butterfly Room – Preschool & Reception (3–5 years) Explorers (Main Hall) – Year 1 to Year 6 Booking Update: We've updated our MCAS booking system to reflect these changes. If you find a session is full, please contact the school office we'll do our best to accommodate your request wherever possible. Seedlings & Little Seedlings Christmas Sing-A-Long! The children and staff at Seedlings and Little Seedlings would like to invite Little Seedlings & Seedlings parents and carers to our Christmas Sing-A-Long on Wednesday 17th December, starting at 9:30am for 45 minutes. Join us for a joyful morning of Christmas songs performed by the children, while you enjoy some festive refreshments If your child doesn't normally attend on Wednesday mornings, we'd still love for you to bring them along and join us all of the children will be taking part in rehearsals over the next few weeks! Remembrance Day at Hampton Vale Primary Academy Yesterday, our school community came together to mark Remembrance Day with a heartfelt celebration. It was wonderful to see our pupils so engaged and respectful during this important occasion. In the lead-up to the day: Each child designed their own Poppysome painted, others beautifully craftedwhich they carried during our Remembrance Parade. As part of a special project, every child painted a rock with meaningful images and symbols to honour the event. These rocks now sit outside the school as a tribute. Shoebox Appeal Reminder! A gentle reminder that shoeboxes need to be handed in by Thursday 13th November. Please give completed boxes to your class teacher. Children received leaflets before half term please make sure your label is filled in and attached to your box. If you need a spare leaflet, just let your child's teacher know. Thank you for your generosity and support we can't wait to see how many shoeboxes we collect this year!
